Delaware District 3 has been awarded the honor to host the WORLD SERIES FOR LITTLE LEAGUE SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT. This will be the second World Series ever held in Delaware. Little League Baseball, Inc. is the largest youth sports program in the World with 2,800,000 children participating between 5 and 18 years of age.

The participants are from USA West, USA East, USA South West, USA South, USA Central, Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Canada. Delaware District 3 will also be participating with a host team. The age of the players are 14, 15 and 16. All of the games will be held at the Lower Sussex Little League Complex in Roxanna Delaware.


The 2006 Senior League Softball World Series will commence on August 6th, 2006. Updates will be forthcoming during the coming months relating to schedules, teams, and other news relating to the upcoming tournament. Please check the NEWS section of this web site for the most recent updates!

The 2005 Senior League Softball World Series commenced Sunday August 7th, 2005. On Saturday, August 13th, 2005, the Citrus Park Little League team, from Tampa Florida (USA South), won the 2005 Championship, with a 1 to 0 win over Latin America's representative, Cardona y Rosario Little League, Puerto Rico.

RESULTS: 2004 WORLD SERIES: August 21st, 2004 ~ LATIN AMERICA is the 2004 Little League World Series Champions. FINAL SCORE Latin America 2 / South USA 0.
