Delaware District 3 has been awarded the honor to host the WORLD SERIES FOR LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL INC.. This is the first Little League Baseball, Inc., World Series ever held in Delaware. Little League Baseball, Inc. is the largest youth sports program in the World with 2,800,000 children participating between 5 and 18 years of age.

The participants are from USA West, USA East, USA South West, USA South, USA Central, Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Canada. Delaware District 3 will also be participating with a host team. The age of the players are 14, 15 and 16. All of the games will be held at the Lower Sussex Little League Complex in Roxanna Delaware.
The 2005 Senior Softball World Series date will be August 7 thru August 13, 2005. More information will be out soon.
